  6. Trinity Homeschool Academy Cooking Class Info:
Today we stirred a little science into our class talking about clouds, where they come from, what they’re made of (and fun things we see in them). We heard the poem, ‘Clouds’ by Rossetti and recited our class poem before getting to work on our Fluffy, Crunchy Clouds. We also welcomed a special birthday guest today who helped us concoct our clouds and also shared cupcakes after class – thank you!
Our seasonal ingredient this week was cauliflower – an ingredient many of the kids said they didn’t care for – at first. Once they helped create our fluffy, crunchy, flavorful mixture, most of them gobbled them up having 2nds (and a few 3rd helpings)! They did a great job using their senses to decide how much of the seasonings to add.
Thanks for another great class – see you all next week
